An absolutely stunning violin from the workshops of Y. Liu. Modelled after antique violins from French masters the tone is warm, full and focused. This beautifully crafted instrument provides the player with a wonderful resonant sound with an eveness across the strings which every violinist looks for.
Each Y.Liu violin is individually selected by Emma Newton.
The back is made from stunning flamed maple with the ribs and neck made from well matched timber. The table is spruce with a close grain. The aged / worn finish is well executed and the varnish has nice natural shading of golden to red tones.
The photograph is an example. The instrument in stock will vary in appearance but will be of the same quality & have the same overall look and appeal.
